1. All aspects of the rehearsal and wedding ceremony will be under the direction of the pastor of First Westminster Presbyterian Church.

2. The date and approval of any wedding shall first be cleared with the minister and the session. An appointment for premarital counseling will be made with the minister.

3. It shall be remembered at all times that the wedding ceremony is a worship service and that no alcohol is permitted on church property.

4. Rice, confetti, birdseed, flowers, etc. are not permitted to be thrown outside. A nice alternative is bubbles for outside use.

5. Florist or baker entry times must be pre-approved by staff.

6. Weddings held on Saturday evenings with the reception in the Geneva Assembly Room (GAR) shall end at 11pm.

7. Only the First Westminster church organist, or an organist approved in consultation with the church, shall play. The church organist is responsible for determining that a qualified person use the organ.

8. Music selections are to be made in conjunction with the couple and the organist.  All music shall be selected to provide a positive attitude for worship.
